Treaty Structuring & Placement: Design and place proportional (Quota Share/Surplus) and non-proportional (Excess of Loss/Stop Loss) treaties, covering entire portfolios rather than individual risks. N
Business Procurement & Relationship Management: Identify, approach, and maintain solid relationships with domestic (e.G., GIC Re) and international reinsurers and brokers. N
Technical Analysis & Risk Assessment: Analyze client underwriting portfolios, loss history, and risk retention philosophy to provide technical data for reinsurance pricing. N
Market Negotiation & Placement: Negotiate competitive treaty terms, including commission, rates, and coverage limits. N




Documentation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations on reinsurance N
Claims & Accounts Management: Assist in claims negotiation, settlement, and premium remittance to ensure proper cash flow between insurer and reinsurer N
