The position places robust emphasis on scholarly research, mentorship of students and early-career faculty, and leadership in building innovative academic programmes.

Role and Responsibilities
The Professor of Law will be expected to:
Provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development.
Mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, and guide early-career faculty in their research and teaching trajectories.
Develop and lead research initiatives, funded projects, and collaborative academic networks at national and international levels.
Contribute to institution-building, including programme design, academic governance, and strategic initiatives of the School.
Teach and develop courses in areas aligned with the School’s priorities, which may include:
Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence
Law and Public Policy
Technology, Regulation and Governance
International Law and Global Governance
Law, Development and Sustainability
Support experiential learning initiatives such as moot courts, policy labs, research
