nStartUp Movers is seeking a qualified and dynamic Company Secretary to join our Corporate Compliance & Advisory team. The role offers an chance to work closely with high-growth startups and established enterprises, providing strategic legal, regulatory, and governance support across diverse business environments.
NKey Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 4–5 specialists handling corporate compliance, legal, and regulatory matters, ensuring high standards of execution and collaboration. N
Provide expert advisoryto clients on corporate laws, including fundraising, compliance frameworks, FEMA regulations, and intellectual property rights (IPR). N
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring the timely resolution of queries and the delivery of high-quality advisory services. N
Oversee and execute fundraising transactions, including private placements, debt issuances, and related regulatory compliance. N




Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Companies Act, FEMA (FDI/ODI), Trademark laws, and other allied frameworks. N
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders such as legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory authorities. N
Monitor regulatory updates and proactively advise clients on risk mitigation and compliance strategies. N
Drive process improvements and contribute to building scalable compliance frameworks for startup clients. N

nEligibility & Qualifications

Qualified CompanySecretary with a valid ICSI membership. N
Minimum 2+ years of experience in team handling within a consultancy firm, PCS firm, or similar environment, preferably serving startups. N
Robust working knowledge of corporate laws, FEMA regulations, and governance practices. N
Practical experience infundraising transactions and regulatory filings. N
