Key Responsibilities – Waterjet Weaving Supervisor
Supervise day-to-day operations of waterjet looms to ensure smooth and continuous production
Monitor loom efficiency, productivity, and fabric quality as per production targets
Ensure correct setting, alignment, and parameter adjustment of waterjet machines
Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns, fabric defects, and water pressure issues
Maintain quality standards (pick density, GSM, defects control, shade consistency)
Manage manpower allocation, shift planning, and operator training
Ensure timely style changes, beam gaiting, and article changeovers
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams
Control raw material usage (yarn, water, chemicals) to minimize wastage
Maintain production records, efficiency reports, and downtime logs
Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with factory rules
Implement continuous improvement for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement
