THE ROLE

We are looking for a confident, well-spoken, and refined Barista who understands that excellent coffee is only part of outstanding hospitality.

You will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience at the bar — from preparing accurate, well-balanced coffee to speaking naturally with guests, understanding their preferences, and making thoughtful recommendations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare espresso, milk-based coffees, filter coffee, iced coffees, teas, and signature beverages to Sabali standards.
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, temperature, and service throughout the day.
Speak confidently and respectfully with guests, creating genuine and comfortable interactions.
Understand our menu and be able to explain ingredients, flavours, and preparation clearly.
Recommend drinks based on individual guest preferences rather than simply taking orders.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented coffee bar at all times.
Handle daily bar preparation, stock checks, coffee equipment, and closing procedures.
Work calmly and efficiently during busy service while maintaining attention to detail.




Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service smooth.
Follow proper coffee preparation, hygiene, food-safety, and equipment-care standards.

Well-spoken, warm, and naturally hospitable
Confident interacting with both local and international guests
Passionate about coffee and interested in learning more about the craft
Presentable, composed, and attentive to detail
Rapid and organised without becoming careless
A good team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable taking responsibility for their station
