Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in CNC Waterjet Machine Programming and Operation.

Job Summary

The Waterjet Operator & Programmer is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Waterjet Cutting Machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings. The role includes machine operation, nesting, program optimization, quality inspection, and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare CNC programs for Waterjet Cutting Machines using CAM software.
Perform nesting to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.
Set up and operate Waterjet Cutting Machines as per production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and cutting specifications.
Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness.
Perform machine setup, nozzle alignment, and calibration before production.
Monitor cutting quality and make necessary program or parameter adjustments.




Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
Maintain daily production records and machine logs.
Coordinate with Production, Design, PPC, Quality, and Stores departments.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance and report machine issues.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished components.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the work area.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
