Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D BIM models (Revit/AutoCAD) for lighting fixtures, controls, and layouts in line with project specifications
Create and manage custom Revit families for lighting products, ensuring accurate geometry, parameters, and photometric data
Coordinate lighting models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
Produce lighting layout drawings, schedules, and fixture specifications from BIM models
Ensure models comply with BIM standards (ISO 19650), company protocols, and client-specific requirements
Manage model versioning, file naming conventions, and data within Common Data Environments (CDE) such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Trimble Connect
Support import/export of photometric data (IES/LDT files) between lighting design software (e.g. DIALux, Relux, AGi32) and BIM models
Participate in design coordination meetings and clash detection reviews (Navisworks)
Maintain the lighting fixture content library and support standardization of reusable BIM assets
Assist with quantity take-offs, fixture schedules, and documentation for tender and construction packages
Stay current with BIM software updates, plugins,



and industry best practices

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a BIM Modeller/Technician, ideally within lighting design, MEP, or architectural practice
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP/Electrical preferred); working knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience creating parametric Revit families (LOD 300–400)
Familiarity with lighting design/photometric software (DIALux, Relux, AGi32) is a robust advantage
Understanding of IES/LDT photometric file formats
Experience with clash detection tools (Navisworks) and CDE platforms
Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows (ISO 19650, BS 1192, Uniclass/NRM classification)
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and electrical drawings
Good communication skills for cross-disciplinary coordination
Relevant qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Building Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
