Job Description – Economics Teacher (ISC Section)

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Economics Teacher for a Junior College (ISC Section) in Pune. The ideal candidate should have robust subject knowledge and experience teaching Class XI & XII Economics as per the ICSE/ISC curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Economics to Junior College students (Class XI & XII – ISC)
Deliver lessons aligned with the ISC syllabus
Prepare students for board examinations and assessments
Create lesson plans, worksheets, and revision material




Track student progress and maintain academic records
Support academic activities and student development

Eligibility CriteriaEducation
Master’s Degree in Economics (Mandatory)
B.Ed (Mandatory)

Experience
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
Prior experience in ICSE/ISC Junior College preferred

Skills Required
Robust understanding of Micro & Macro Economics
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Experience with board-level curriculum and exam preparation
Student-focused teaching approach
