Position Overview Role Description Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of the Group Chief Operating Office (COO), acting as a bridge between the Bank’s business and infrastructure functions to deliver efficiency, control, and transformation outcomes. You will join the Global Strategic Analytics team focusing on the strategy, development, and deployment of Transaction Monitoring models. The team delivers industry-leading solutions leveraging both qualitative and quantitative analytics on Deutsche Bank’s client activities. In this role, you will apply advanced data science methodologies to design and enhance Transaction Monitoring models, ensuring effective detection of suspicious activity. You will work as part of a global, collaborative team, combining technical expertise with solid delivery focus, and contributing to ongoing capability development.



The role also serves as the Regional Head for APAC Transaction Monitoring, as well as the lead for Global Ongoing Model Performance Monitoring (OPM) and the Model Tuning Center of Excellence. Transaction Monitoring models aim to identify unusual customer transactions and behavioral patterns to detect potential financial crime risks and support regulatory reporting obligations. Reporting to the Global Head of Transaction Control Strats, you will play a key role in improving, implementing, and maintaining these models to ensure comprehensive coverage across products, services, and emerging typologies.
