Job Description Your Role Analyst, Data Governance (Corporate Functions) Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business teams to create and maintain the data catalog. Monitor and manage metadata to ensure accuracy and ongoing updates. Assist with data cataloging, profiling, lineage, and data quality processes. Provide guidance and training to employees on accessing and using the Metadata Dictionary and Taxonomy.



Produce metrics and management reporting related to metadata usage and content quality. Complete special projects as assigned to support departmental needs. Solve problems and make recommendations for improving process complexities. Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge retention. Handle and manage escalations related to metadata processes. Support GIDS leadership in meeting team objectives and strategic initiatives. Stay informed about changes in the broader data landscape and provide insights to GIDS management. Experience you bring 0-3 years of experience in a data role, preferably in financial services. Understanding of metadata and its importance in business and IT processes. Knowledge of financial regulations and industry practices (preferred). Understanding of data modeling and data entity relationships.
