A custom, engineered-to-order manufacturer located in the Portland-Salem corridor and serving the commercial construction industry is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead and strengthen its commercial organization. Post-acquisition, the company is investing in the people, processes, and infrastructure needed to support its next stage of growth and significantly scale the business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the executive leadership team, the VP of Sales and Marketing will own business development, inside sales, customer experience, and marketing. The immediate priority is inside sales: improving handoffs, communication, follow-up, team leadership, and the customer journey from inquiry through delivery. For the right person, this is an chance to shape the go-to-market strategy, build a scalable sales organization, and help grow a $25-$30 million business toward its $100 million vision.

What You'll Do
- Lead the full commercial organization across business development, inside sales, customer experience, and marketing,



translating company goals into a clear go-to-market strategy and sales playbook.
- Make inside sales and customer experience the initial priority, strengthening process handoffs, quote and project follow-up, communication, lead times, and the customer journey from inquiry through delivery.
- Establish a disciplined sales operating rhythm with clear pipeline stages, CRM accountability, forecasting, pricing and margin discipline, and meaningful performance metrics including quote response time, conversion, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and coach a high-performing sales organization through hands-on leadership, clear expectations, individual development, accountability, and a constructive culture of urgency.
