Production & Planning EngineerResponsibilities
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
Monitor material availability, machine capacity, manpower, and production schedules.
Track plan vs. actual production and take corrective actions for delays.
Monitor productivity, machine utilization, rejection, rework, and downtime.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvement actions.
Maintain production records, reports, and ERP/MRP data.
Support inventory control and ensure optimum material availability.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements




Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing.
Valuable knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and material planning.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and Lean/5S practices.
