Position Summary

An OT Scrubber assists surgeons and the surgical team during operations by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile setting, handling surgical instruments, and supporting patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and sterilize the operating theatre before surgery.
Arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to the procedure.
Perform surgical hand scrubbing and maintain sterile technique.
Pass instruments, sutures, and other materials to surgeons during operations.
Count instruments, sponges, and needles before, during, and after procedures.
Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
Ensure infection control and compliance with hospital protocols.




Monitor the availability and functionality of surgical equipment.
Dispose of biomedical waste according to regulations.
Document surgical supplies and maintain inventory records.
Assist with post-operative cleaning and preparation of the OT for the next case.

Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Operation Theatre Technology, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection-control practices.
Familiarity with surgical instruments and procedures.
Basic life support (BLS) certification may be preferred.

Pay: ₹13,445.69 - ₹35,126.84 per month
