Description

The Record to Report (R2R) Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. The role leads a team of accounting professionals, drives process excellence, ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and partners with stakeholders to support financial decision-making.

The position is accountable for maintaining the integrity of financial records, delivering high-quality reporting, and identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement. The role often requires expertise in GAAP accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities
Financial Close & Reporting
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations.
- Review financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS,



or other applicable accounting standards.
- Analyze financial results and explain variances to management.

Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop R2R team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
- Allocate workloads and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
- Build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous learning.

Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business units, auditors, controllers, and finance leadership.
- Manage client and leadership reviews.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Resolve accounting and reporting issues through collaboration with stakeholders.

Governance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance and identify control gaps.
- Support risk assessment and remediation activities.
