Gym Receptionist – Soho House Mumbai

We are looking for a warm, confident and service-focused Gym Receptionist to join the team at Soho House Mumbai.

This is more than a front-desk role. You will be one of the key faces of our gym, responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our members and guests while supporting the smooth and safe operation of the facility.

What you’ll be doing
- Welcome and engage with members and guests, ensuring a warm and personalised experience at every visit.
- Build strong relationships and rapport with our members and understand their needs and preferences.
- Handle member enquiries, requests and feedback in a friendly, professional and productive manner.
- Manage the gym entry and exit system, ensuring appropriate access and security procedures are followed.
- Support membership administration and maintain accurate member and operational records.
- Actively promote available memberships, gym services, challenges and House initiatives.
- Encourage members to participate in gym challenges,



wellness initiatives and other activities.
- Ensure the gym, reception and surrounding areas are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard throughout the shift.
- Carry out regular checks of gym equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, clean and ready for member use.
- Be attentive to members using the facilities and support their safety and overall enjoyment of the gym.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Safeguarding and emergency procedures.
- Take ownership of issues as they arise and proactively find solutions.
- Escalate incidents, maintenance concerns or member issues appropriately.
- Work closely with the wider House team to ensure a seamless member experience.
- Support the wider gym and wellness team with day-to-day operational requirements.
