This is a senior technical leadership opportunity within a fully remote engineering environment focused on building secure, scalable enterprise software. You will own the architecture and technical direction of large-scale distributed applications while remaining deeply hands-on in software development. The role centers on Python backend engineering, with opportunities to contribute to Java services and modern full-stack capabilities. You will influence engineering standards, mentor other engineers, and drive improvements across reliability, security, automation, and developer experience. Contemporary cloud infrastructure and AI-assisted development tools are integral to the engineering environment. Accountabilities
- Own the architecture, design,



and technical direction of large-scale, distributed enterprise applications.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, highly available backend services, primarily using Python, while contributing to Java-based services.
- Drive architectural decisions, technical strategies, engineering standards, and long-term platform improvements across teams.
- Build and evolve distributed systems using microservices, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and modern software engineering practices.
- Champion software craftsmanship through clean architecture, automated testing, application security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to accelerate development, automate repetitive activities, and improve software quality and engineering product
