Description
- The Unit Head – Credit Administration is responsible for leading and overseeing the checker function within the Credit Administration team for SME and Wholesale Banking portfolios.
- The role ensures accurate verification of credit documentation, compliance with approved sanction terms, adherence to regulatory and internal policies, effective risk management, and timely processing within defined service levels.
- The incumbent will manage and mentor team members, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment of team objectives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
- Verify sanction letters, loan documents, security documents, and mortgage creation documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved credit terms.
- Review executed documents and authorize limit setup instructions in accordance with the Bank's policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Legal Department to obtain guidance and support document customization requirements wherever necessary.




- Ensure compliance with all pre-disbursement conditions and approved sanction terms before processing and authorization.
- Monitor and drive timely closure of non-recurring post-disbursement compliance requirements in coordination with business teams.
- Ensure all credit administration activities are processed accurately, error-free, and within the stipulated turnaround times (TATs).
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, documentation, and compliance-related risks to safeguard the Bank's interests.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Manage, mentor and empower team members to achieve high performance, productivity, and alignment with organizational objectives.
