About the Role

Join Swiss Re's Property Treaty Underwriting Advisory group in Bangalore as a Property Treaty UW Advisor. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the rapid-paced, intellectually stimulating world of natural catastrophe reinsurance — working with Swiss Re's proprietary risk modelling platforms and collaborating with underwriting desks across the globe. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how risk is understood, priced, and managed for some of the world's most complex property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality NatCat costing by analyzing property exposure data and providing underwriting advisory support to global underwriting desks




- Model property portfolios using Swiss Re's internal and external risk assessment tools, including Risk Link, MultiSnap, and GRP
- Advise and guide underwriters in interpreting model results, understanding model differences, and navigating model limitations
- Collaborate on benchmarking and pricing of reinsurance contracts, working closely with underwriters to develop robust costing solutions
- Champion best practices in modelling and costing by continuously developing and applying the latest methodologies
- Partner with the global underwriting community and business partners on projects that generate valuable services and insights for Swiss Re
- Drive model improvement by leveraging findings from underwriting analyses to enhance NatCat models and tools
- Build sophisticated analytics and client services by extracting meaningful insights from large and complex datasets
