Your Role:
As an Electrical Project Engineer II, you will play a key role in the complete electrical design and execution of Vanderlande's automation projects. From power distribution and electrical component selection to control diagrams, cabling specifications, installation, and commissioning, you will ensure that electrical solutions are designed and delivered in line with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
You will work closely with engineers, installers, suppliers, and global project stakeholders to develop practical and productive electrical designs using advanced CAD tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN.
What you will do/Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Design & Engineering
- Manage and execute electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed electrical designs covering power distribution, control systems, and electrical components.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, including:
- Power calculations
- Cable calculations
- Cable tray systems
- Power distribution
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Design control diagrams using industrial communication technologies such as PROFINET and AS-i.
- Specify Siemens PLC hardware and industrial communication networks including PROFIBUS, PROFINET, TCP/IP, Serial, and AS-i.
- Design electrical enclosures and prepare complete manufacturing drawing packages.
- Develop total cabling specifications, installation drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Utilize AutoCAD and EPLAN to deliver accurate and high-quality electrical engineering documentation.
