Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

Support implementation of safety systems, risk assessments, statutory compliance and safety awareness activities during Greenfield project execution and post-SOP operations to create and sustain a safe working workplace

Roles and responsibilities:

Greenfield Project Phase
- Support implementation of project safety requirements during civil construction, utility installation, equipment erection and commissioning activities.
- Conduct workplace safety inspections, contractor safety monitoring and hazard identification activities across project areas.
- Assist in risk assessments, HIRA, HAZOP studies and safety audits for project activities.
- Monitor compliance with site safety procedures, PPE requirements, permit-to-work systems and statutory regulations.

Operations Phase




- Perform routine workplace safety inspections and safety audits across plant operations.
- Maintain accident prevention plans, incident records, near miss reports and safety MIS.
- Support employee, contractor and vendor training programs relating to safety and EHS requirements.
- Coordinate statutory compliance activities, safety initiatives, emergency preparedness drills and corrective action implementation.

Experience

5 Years
• Greenfield Project experience will be an added advantage.

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEM, Auto Component Manufacturing, Industrial Manufacturing, Infrastructure & EPC Projects

Qualifications

B.E. - Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering

AND

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)
