POSITION TITLE: Design Engineer II

REPORTS TO (JOB TITLE): Engineering Manager

JOB PURPOSE
Design and develop recent products required for the continued growth of product line. Prepare requirements and projects plans for new product development.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop electrical systems including PCB layouts, circuits, components, sensors, and special layout requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable regulatory standards (IPC, IEC, etc.).
- Research and evaluate electronic subcomponent replacements for obsolescence management.
- Perform fundamental circuit design and troubleshooting to support current and future products.
- Design, build, and test prototype circuits to validate design requirements.
- Assist manufacturing in transitioning prototypes to production.
- Prepare and maintain PCB documentation and sign-off in PLM systems
(e.g., Windchill).
- Develop factory acceptance test procedures for in-house and customer requirements.
- Organize tasks,



manage ordering and delivery of equipment/materials, and facilitate efficient assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide support for sustaining processes and procedures for electrical/electronic items.
- Assist manufacturing and R&M; teams in resolving technical issues.
- Offer post-project support, including troubleshooting remotely or onsite as needed.
