We are looking for an entrepreneurial, product-focused Principal Officer to build and scale our Insurance Broking operations, while aggressively driving business growth, product design, and market penetration, who will direct the execution of embedded insurance architectures, standalone user journeys, and highly automated API integrations.

Drawing from a highly strategic background, the candidate must possess a unique blend of technical underwriting expertise, corporate B2B sales acumen, and the capability to build embedded or standalone digital insurance ecosystems from the ground up.

Experience & Domain Mandate
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive, high-impact leadership experience within the insurance sector, corporate broking, or advanced insurtech ecosystems.
- Core Specialization: Masterful expertise in product design, technical underwriting, and corporate sales of high-value financial lines—specifically Directors & Officers (D&O;) Liability and Professional Indemnity (PI) policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Leadership & Compliance




- Serve as the official Principal Officer of the company, ensuring strict compliance with IRDAI regulations, broking guidelines, and code of conduct.
- Act as the chief liaison between the corporate entity, insurance partners, and regulatory bodies for smooth legal closures and regular audits.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory returns, Annual Business Plans (ABP), MIS reports, and market due diligence to the board and regulators.
- Champion the organization’s Grievance Redressal Mechanism, ensuring all client escalations and disputes are investigated and legally resolved within the mandated 14-day turnaround window.

2. Commercial Product Designing & Underwriting
- End-to-end ownership of Product Strategy & Designing for complex corporate lines, specifically focusing on Directors & Officers (D&O;) Liability Insurance and Qualified Indemnity (PI) policies, Cyber Risk Insurance.
