Job Summary

Responsible for managing the credit portfolio for the Ananthapur region, ensuring efficient credit assessment, risk management, and timely recovery, thereby contributing to the company's financial health and growth.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the credit team in Ananthapur, overseeing their performance and development.
* Evaluate credit applications, conduct thorough financial analysis, and assess creditworthiness of clients.
* Approve or reject loan applications based on established credit policies and risk parameters.
* Monitor existing credit accounts, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients to facilitate effective credit management and recovery processes.
* Ensure compliance with all internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines.
* Prepare and present credit reports and portfolio performance analyses to senior management.
* Implement strategies for minimizing non-performing assets and maximizing recovery rates.




* Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape affecting credit risk.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit management, preferably within a financial institution or similar industry.
* Proven experience in leading and managing a credit team.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Thorough understanding of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to make sound credit decisions and manage risk effectively.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Fluency in English and Telugu is highly desirable.
