The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building solid customer relationships, and ensuring the effective promotion and distribution of the company's pharmaceutical products.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for the designated territory.
* Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to drive product adoption and prescription.
* Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products, address inquiries, and provide product information.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and report findings to management.
* Manage and optimize product distribution channels,



ensuring adequate stock levels and timely delivery to customers.
* Organize and participate in medical camps, product launches, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
* Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports accurately and on time.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Train and educate medical representatives or other junior sales staff, if applicable, within the assigned area.
* Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
* Minimum of 2-5 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a similar role.
