Job Description – Manager – MEP (Plumbing & Firefighting)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage plumbing and firefighting MEP works for commercial IT Park projects.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, architects, and internal project teams.

Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical submittals.

Monitor installation of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, and related services.

Manage firefighting systems including fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump room, fire tanks, and fire suppression systems.

Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Monitor contractor performance, manpower, material availability, and work progress.

Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and other MEP teams for proper service integration.

Ensure testing,



commissioning, inspection, and handover of plumbing and firefighting systems.

Review measurements, quantities, and contractor bills.

Identify and resolve technical/site issues in coordination with consultants and contractors.

Ensure compliance with NBC, applicable fire safety norms, statutory requirements, and project HSE standards.

Desired Skills

Strong experience in plumbing & firefighting execution for commercial / IT Park projects.

Good knowledge of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pumps, water supply, drainage, sewage, and storm-water systems.

Strong understanding of MEP drawings, BOQ, specifications, and testing & commissioning.

Excellent contractor and consultant management skills.

Solid coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in large-scale commercial / Grade-A IT Park projects will be preferred.
