NM India Sourcing is looking for an expert in industrial EPC contractor to strengthen and transform its clients procurement function.

I am looking for one senior procurement professional to lead this assignment.
Someone with 20+ years of procurement experience and at least 10 years in EPC, construction, infrastructure or heavy industrial projects — who has personally negotiated with mills, fabricators, cement companies, RMC suppliers, OEMs and other major project suppliers and has actually delivered procurement savings.

WHO I AM LOOKING FOR
→ 20+ years in procurement, with at least 10 years in EPC / construction / infrastructure / heavy industrial projects
→ Someone who has owned categories and procurement outcomes, not simply processed purchase orders
→ Someone who has personally negotiated with steel mills, fabricators, cement manufacturers, RMC plants,



OEMs, MEP suppliers and other project vendors
→ Someone who understands cost build-up / price break-up, should-cost and Total Cost of Ownership
→ Someone who can distinguish a genuine procurement saving from a commodity price movement or market-driven reduction
→ Someone who can demonstrate and validate actual savings to senior management / CFO
→ Someone who has developed alternate suppliers and competitive sources
→ Someone who can improve supplier performance, commercial terms, procurement processes and governance
→ Someone who can work alongside the existing procurement team and transfer knowledge and capability

THE ENGAGEMENT
This is an assignment-based senior consulting engagement, not a conventional full time recruitment position.
→ You will be expected to lead the procurement improvement / savings mandate
→ Develop sourcing / negotiation approaches
→ Measure and validate savings
