Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting and selling general insurance products to individual and corporate customers, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and meeting assigned sales targets.



Daily activities include prospecting new customers, following up on leads, explaining product features and benefits, preparing quotations, and assisting customers through the policy issuance and renewal process. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for smooth onboarding, handling basic customer queries, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and sales activities. The Sales Associate is expected to represent TATA AIG’s values, provide a high standard of service, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
Sales and negotiation abilities, including prospecting, closing deals, and working toward defined targets.
Basic knowledge of insurance or financial services concepts; prior experience in BFSI or sales roles is an advantage.
