Job Description

Develop and teach modules in the area of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Electric Circuit Analysis I and or II, Electrical Machines I and or II, Power Systems I and or II, Control Engineering, Power Systems Protection, Renewable Energy Technologies and or High Voltage Engineering in traditional, hybrid, and online platforms.
Establish and/or maintain a quality publication record.
Develop and maintain strong, visible externally funded research programs that will contribute to scholarly publication.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students (in the case of a PhD holder).
Contribute to both institutionally and professionally through active services.

Requirements

MEng. /MSc. /MPhil.



Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with specialisation in Electrical Machines and Power Systems Engineering or Power Systems Protection. A PhD, industrial work experience and registration with a professional body would be an added advantage.
At least 3 years of university teaching, research and publications, community engagement or relevant industry experience in the field.
Positive publication record in high impact journals.
Experience in sourcing of research or project funding from third-party sources, successful initiation and management of research projects.
