About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion across Mumbai and surrounding territories. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the plywood, laminates, MDF, particle board, veneer, hardware, or related building materials industry and possess excellent relationship-building and channel management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Appoint, develop, and manage dealers, distributors, and channel partners across the assigned territory.
Expand market presence by identifying new business opportunities and untapped markets.
Build solid relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and project consultants.
Generate and manage project sales opportunities in residential, commercial, and institutional segments.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
Conduct regular market visits and ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.




Coordinate with marketing and product teams for promotional activities and brand-building programs.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence for management review.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Marketing preferred.
5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within the plywood, laminates, MDF, veneer, hardware, paints, sanitaryware, tiles, or building materials industry.
Strong network among dealers, distributors, architects, and project influencers in Mumbai.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and market expansion.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and drive business growth.
