Role Description The Procurement Engineer role at TOPWERK INDIA is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. We are looking for a Procurement & Supplier Development Engineer with experience in mechanical component sourcing, vendor development, and subcontracting activities for industrial equipment manufacturing.
The candidate will be responsible for developing suppliers, sourcing fabricated structures, machined components, castings, forgings, and ensuring timely delivery of quality components as per engineering requirements.

Responsibilities:
Supplier Development & Sourcing
Identify and develop suppliers for:




Heavy fabrication and welded assemblies
CNC machined components
Casting components with machining
Forged components
Mechanical parts and assemblies
Evaluate supplier capability, capacity, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
Develop new vendors and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
Conduct supplier visits and support vendor improvement activities.
Procurement & Subcontracting
Handle RFQ activities based on drawings, BOM, and technical specifications.
Analyze supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
Coordinate with suppliers from order placement to final delivery.
Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, and delivery.
Technical Coordination
Understand engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and specifications.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams for supplier requirements.
