Role Description The Area Loss Prevention Officer at bigbasket is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Noida. This role is responsible for monitoring store and warehouse operations to minimize shrinkage and prevent losses through physical security measures, regular audits, and adherence to company policies. The officer will conduct surveillance activities, investigate incidents, analyze loss trends, and implement preventive strategies in coordination with operations and security teams. Daily tasks include reporting and documentation of incidents, training frontline staff on loss prevention practices, and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe setting for employees, partners, and customers while protecting company assets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong retail loss prevention and prevention skills,



with experience identifying risk areas and implementing effective controls.
Candidates should possess solid physical security and surveillance skills, including familiarity with CCTV systems, access control, and incident monitoring.
Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations teams and prepare concise incident reports.
Relevant experience in retail, e-commerce, logistics, or warehouse environments is beneficial.
Knowledge of basic security and safety regulations, and comfort working on-site in a fast-paced operational setting is preferred.
Ability to work in shifts, travel within the assigned area if required, and handle confidential information with discretion.
