Better Ledger Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team and lead business development efforts across the US Accounting & Bookkeeping market.

THE ROLE
• Position: Business Development Manager – US Accounting Sales
• Market: United States
• Focus: Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax & Finance Services
• Experience: 1–2+ years in relevant US B2B sales / business development
• Employment: Full-time

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the US
• Prospect US businesses, CPA firms, accounting firms, and SMBs
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, email, cold calling, referrals, and other channels
• Conduct discovery calls and understand client accounting requirements
• Present and position our accounting and bookkeeping solutions




• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Build and maintain robust relationships with US decision-makers
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
• Work closely with the operations and accounting teams to ensure smooth client onboarding

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 1–2+ years of experience in US-focused B2B sales or business development
• Experience selling Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax, Payroll, or related financial services is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of the US business market
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to generate and convert leads
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable communicating with US business owners, CFOs, Controllers, and CPA firms
• Highly target-driven with a strong closing mindset
