Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :
Own features end-to-end—from React/React Native interfaces to APIs, databases, and production deployment
Design and build scalable backend services using Python/FastAPI
Build reliable web and mobile experiences for low-end devices and unreliable networks
Design APIs, database schemas, indexes, and data flows handling millions of records
Debug complex production issues across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure
Improve system performance during high-traffic assessment periods
Integrate AI/ML services, including handwriting recognition and speech assessment pipelines
Review code and mentor junior engineers
Work directly with the CTO on architecture and engineering decisions
Take ownership of problems and drive them through to completion

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of solid software engineering experience
Strong experience with React / React Native
Strong backend engineering fundamentals; Python/FastAPI, Django, or Flask preferred




Production experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases
Strong understanding of APIs, authentication, caching, database indexing, and performance
Ability to systematically debug unfamiliar systems
Ability to quickly understand and contribute to an existing codebase
Proven experience personally owning and shipping meaningful production features
Comfortable using AI coding tools while being able to explain and defend the code you ship

Good to Have

React Native / Android production experience
Redis, queues, and asynchronous processing
Docker and basic Kubernetes debugging
Offline-first applications and synchronization
High-traffic or large-scale systems
CI/CD and cloud infrastructure
AI/ML inference integration
EdTech or public-sector technology

Salary Range

13.00 - 16.00 LPA
