Product Design Intern — Founding Team

Role Overview

As a Product Design Intern on the Founding Team at Trinance, you will work closely with the founders to shape the product experience from the ground up. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact design decisions across product strategy, user experience, and visual design in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will be involved throughout the product design lifecycle—from understanding user needs and identifying opportunities to developing concepts, creating prototypes, and refining experiences based on feedback and data.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the founding team to define and evolve Trinance’s product vision and user experience.
Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify user needs and product opportunities.
Translate complex user and business requirements into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.




Develop and maintain design systems and reusable components to ensure consistency across the product.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product goals.
Participate in design reviews and communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability insights, and product performance.
Contribute to the broader product strategy and help establish Trinance’s design language as an early-stage company.
What We’re Looking For

Strong understanding of UI/UX and product design principles.
Proficiency in tools such as Figma and familiarity with prototyping and design systems.
Strong visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to simplify complex problems into clear and intuitive user experiences.
Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to work in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment.
