Business Analyst – Core Banking / BFSI

Experience: 5+ Years

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a solid background in Core Banking solutions and the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into functional solutions while ensuring successful implementation and delivery of banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and functional requirements.
Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements and solution enhancements.

Core Banking Domain Expertise





Work extensively on Core Banking modules, including CASA, Deposits, Lending, Payments, and Digital Channels.
Provide domain expertise during solution design, implementation, and integration activities.
Support product enhancements and business transformation initiatives within banking environments.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business users, product owners, project managers, developers, testers, and external stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders for business case preparation, effort estimation, and project planning.

Documentation & Process Management

Prepare detailed functional specifications, process workflows, data mapping documents, and API documentation.
Maintain project documentation using tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
