Role Description
As an Interior Design Intern at Purpose DesignLife, you will support the design team with day-to-day project tasks in an on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This internship role involves assisting with space planning, developing mood boards, and helping prepare presentations and drawings for client reviews. You will contribute to sourcing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E;), organizing material libraries, and coordinating samples. The intern will help with site visits, measurements, documentation, and basic client communication under the guidance of senior designers.



You will also collaborate on design concepts and work with digital tools to refine layouts and visualizations while gaining practical studio experience.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a strong interest in creating functional and visually appealing spaces.
Candidates should possess skills related to Furniture and FF&E;, including an understanding of materials, finishes, and product selection.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting client interactions.
Enrollment in or completion of a program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Basic proficiency with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and standard office tools is beneficial.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a studio environment are highly valued.
