Role Description The Navcom / Marine Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. In this position, the engineer installs, configures, and services navigation and communication (Navcom) equipment on marine vessels, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and carrying out repairs on marine electronic systems. The role involves providing on-board technical support,



documenting service activities, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams and customers to plan and complete service visits. The engineer also supports continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, recommending system upgrades, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards during all field assignments.
Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for marine navigation and communication systems.
Hands-on experience in field service, including on-board visits and customer-facing activities.
Proficiency in maintenance & repair of electronic and automation equipment, preferably in marine environments.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, ship crew, and internal technical teams.
Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
