Role Description The Knitwear Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dahi. The designer will develop knitwear concepts and collections aligned with brand requirements and market trends, translating ideas into detailed designs and technical specifications. Daily tasks include creating sketches,



selecting yarns and fabrics, defining stitch structures, and coordinating with product development and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality. The role involves collaborating with merchandising, sampling, and manufacturing units, reviewing prototypes, and refining designs based on feedback and performance. The designer will also research emerging fashion trends, sustainability practices, and innovative knitting techniques to keep collections competitive and aligned with Pratibha’s values.
Qualifications
Solid design skills in knitwear, including sketching, concept development, and creating technical design packs.
Knowledge of yarns, knitted fabrics, stitches, and garment construction, with an understanding of fit, comfort, and durability.
Proficiency with design and pattern software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools for knitwear) and basic computer lite
