Purpose of the Role:
This role will specifically look for Projects related to Packaging machinery and Automation for Marico, IBG &digital; business.
Specific Candidate profile:
Experience should be in packaging machinery related activities of an FMCG company or packaging machinery manufacturer.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduation/ Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience.
Packaging degree from IIP or SIES (not compulsory).
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Should have understanding and experience of working with Packaging Machines and related Automations
Should have knowledge of Robotics, EOL solutions, Process improvements & plant operations
Understanding of IOT, industry 4.0
Primary Competencies: Machine design, Automation, Project management
Tools: AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
Job Responsibilities:
Initiate and execute Packaging machinery projects related to Greenfield/Brownfield
Initiate and execute Automation, productivity improvement, cost saving projects
Develop strategies to improve efficiency and quality from PKG assets and undertake Upgrade programs
Study existing production lines and propose debottlenecking projects
Set-up packaging equipment for current products, change in pack format, product trial launch, also conduct trials for new packs on existing machines for NPD process.
Work with Plant teams on all capex procurement related to packaging machines
Solve key issues related to packaging at Plants and help in standardization across plants
Adherence to laid out systems and policies, generating MIS & various reports as required for the division

Downwards :- Stakeholder interactions:
Plant team across manufacturing units and Head Office team in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence
Packaging
