Senior Platform Engineer – DevOps

Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent
Enable rapid, reliable, and repeatable deployments across multiple environments
Drive adoption of modern deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary releases)

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering:
Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)
Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
Ensure high availability,



fault tolerance and cost optimization
Contribute to platform engineering initiatives for reusable infrastructure components

Automation & Developer Productivity:
Identify and eliminate manual processes through automation
Build tools and frameworks to improve developer efficiency and self-service capabilities
Promote DevOps and GitOps practices across engineering teams

Monitoring, Observability & Reliability Engineering:
Design and implement observability solutions (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.)
Define and manage SLAs, SLOs and SLIs to ensure system reliability
Establish alerting, dashboards and proactive monitoring practices
Drive continuous improvements in system performance and uptime

Production Support & Incident Management:
Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
