Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Roku Developer to engineer high-performance streaming experiences across the Roku device ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the architecture, optimization, and deployment of our Roku applications, navigating everything from low-level embedded memory management to up-to-date backend integrations and CI/CD automation pipelines.





Must-Have Qualifications
Roku Platform Mastery: Proven experience engineering world-class Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
Ecosystem & Embedded Constraints: In-depth understanding of the Roku OS ecosystem, with a focus on CPU/RAM profiling, memory management, and performance optimization for legacy/constrained hardware.
Core Frameworks & Publishing: Practical experience with core Roku frameworks (Advertising, Analytics) and hands-on familiarity with the Roku Channel Store submission process.
System Debugging: Strong background handling debugging, multi-threading, and rendering bottlenecks in embedded systems.
Networking & APIs: Solid, hands-on experience integrating and consuming RESTful web services and optimized JSON/GraphQL payloads.
Video Technologies: Demonstrated experience with video streaming/encoding standards (HLS, DASH) and familiarity with open-source v
