Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Windows Kernel-Mode and User-Mode Device Drivers.
Develop drivers using KMDF, UMDF, and WDM frameworks.
Work on PCIe, USB, Storage, Network, Graphics, and I/O Drivers.
Perform driver bring-up and enablement for new hardware platforms.
Debug and resolve complex kernel issues including:
BSOD (Bug Checks)
Memory Corruption
Deadlocks
Race Conditions
Performance Bottlenecks
Analyze crash dumps and kernel traces using WinDbg.
Implement and validate PnP (Plug and Play) and Power Management features.
Develop solutions involving interrupts, DMA, and hardware-software interaction.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, validation, and system architecture teams.
Support driver certification, validation, and production releases.




Conduct root cause analysis across OS, firmware, and hardware layers.
Required Skills
Solid programming skills in C/C++
Expertise in Windows Driver Development
Deep understanding of Windows Kernel Internals
Hands-on experience with:
KMDF
UMDF
WDM
Strong debugging experience using WinDbg
Knowledge of:
Driver Architecture
PnP Framework
Power Management
Interrupt Handling
DMA Operations
Experience with PCIe Drivers
Experience with USB Drivers
Experience with Storage Drivers
Understanding of Windows OS internals and driver lifecycle
