We bridge the gap between state of the art genomic research and personalized patient care. We are seeking a Genetic Counselor to serve as the crucial clinical link between our advanced sequencing pipelines and the patients we treat.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Counseling and Risk Assessment:
Provide comprehensive pre test and post test genetic counseling for patients and their families regarding hereditary cancer syndromes, such as BRCA1 and BRCA2, Lynch Syndrome, and FAP, as well as somatic tumor profiling.
Construct and analyze detailed multigenerational family pedigrees, utilizing established risk assessment models to determine the probability of inherited cancer predispositions.




Educate patients on the benefits, limitations, and potential psychosocial impacts of Next Generation Sequencing and comprehensive genomic profiling.
Clearly explain complex test results, including pathogenic variants, benign variants, and Variants of Uncertain Significance, in empathetic, culturally sensitive, and accessible language.

Clinical Integration and Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Serve as a core member of the KPCIRC Molecular Tumor Board, actively contributing genomic expertise to help oncologists formulate personalized, targeted therapy plans based on molecular biomarkers.
Collaborate with computational biology and diagnostic teams to review variant interpretations, ensuring that AI driven insights align with clinical realities.
Coordinate seamlessly with Patient Navigators to ensure patients are efficiently scheduled for testing, prophylactic surgeries, or high risk cancer screening programs based
