PRIME FUNCTION

To manage end-to-end activities related to fixture design, manufacturing, maintenance, and calibration of gauges and measuring instruments, ensuring production continuity, quality compliance, and cost optimization.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Ensure high availability and reliability of fixtures, gauges, and measuring instruments to support uninterrupted production.
Minimize downtime and prevent line stoppages due to fixture or instrument failures.
Ensure zero customer complaints related to fixtures, gauges, and measuring systems.




Plan and execute calibration activities; ensure 100% adherence to calibration schedules and maintain proper records.
Conduct MSA studies and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Prepare work instructions and maintain master data for fixtures, gauges, and lab equipment.
Monitor quality objectives and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
Support design, development, trials, and validation of current fixtures for NPD.
Manage inventory, stock verification, and ensure timely procurement based on reorder levels.
Ensure availability of resources for calibration and maintenance activities.
Develop and manage vendors; ensure timely delivery and address supplier non-conformities.
Drive cost optimization through negotiation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IMS standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ESG).
Utilize SAP PM module for maintenance planning and tracking.
