Are you obsessed with internet culture? Do you love turning trending moments into something people can’t stop reading about? BuzzFeed’s India team is looking for curious, internet-savvy writers to craft engaging, entertaining, and shareable stories for our US audience. If you have a keen eye for pop culture moments, a sharp sense of humor, and know how to make people click, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Pitch and write engaging listicles, quizzes, and feature stories across pop culture, entertainment, and lifestyle, centred around the US audience.
Turn trending conversations and niche topics into compelling, high-performing content.
Work with the editor to refine content, optimize headlines, and package stories for maximum impact.
Take ownership of your ideas from pitch to publication and iterate based on editorial feedback and performance.
Spot outstanding stories before everyone else does.
