About the Role:
Zinco Fertilisers is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Assistant Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial compliance activities.

1. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations
Record and verify sales, purchase, journal, and expense entries in the accounting software.
Maintain general ledger and sub-ledger accounts accurately.
Ensure books of accounts are updated on a regular basis.
Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.

2. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
Reconcile vendor, customer, and intercompany ledgers.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and mismatches.

3. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
Prepare data for GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
Support GST and TDS return filing activities.
Ensure proper TDS deductions and preparation of TDS workings.




Coordinate with the reporting manager regarding statutory compliance requirements.

4. Month-End & Year-End Closing Activities
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Support preparation of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheet schedules.
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and provide required financial information.

5. Receivables & Payables Management
Track accounts receivable including invoicing, payment follow-ups, and ageing analysis.
Monitor accounts payable, payment schedules, and vendor coordination.
Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vouchers, agreements, and supporting records.

Required Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
Positive understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
