- Job Description_

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our team and oversee the woodworking unit. Experience in a furniture production set-up is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of the carpentry shop floor to ensure that processes, safety procedures and guidelines are followed.
- Planning and scheduling work to carpenters based on the order pipeline.
- Material planning, sourcing and preparation
- especially wood procurement and seasoning.
- Monitoring efficiency of production and making sure that delivery is as per committed schedules.
- Quality control at each stage of production - including proper use of templates, adequate gluing time, correct joinery techniques, etc.




- Managing a team of skilled carpenters - enforcing discipline and sorting out HR issues.
- Machinery maintenance and ensuring timely service.

Profile:
- 10+ years experience in a furniture manufacturing or woodworking production unit with at least two years of supervisory experience of managing a team.
- In-depth knowledge of materials (especially wood) and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.
- Good written communication skills.
- Ability to work with high precision and excellent detail.

The work location will be our workshop in Abbigere industrial area, Jalahalli, Bangalore.
