Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Java 8+ and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
- Good knowledge of REST APIs and API integration
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Understanding of Hibernate / JPA frameworks
- Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD concepts
- Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with debugging, logging, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and
OAuth2
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code
Nice to have Skills:
- Basic understanding of Payment Switch systems and transaction processing
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 or ISO 20022 messaging standards
- Understanding of UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, SWIFT, or payment gateway
concepts
- Knowledge of transaction routing, reconciliation, and settlement process
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS security standards
- Understanding of high-volume transaction systems and real-time processing
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architecture is an added
advantage
