Udayan Ghar provides family-like residential care to children in need of care and protection under the Juvenile Justice Act. Our homes offer a safe, nurturing setting where children receive quality education, healthcare, emotional support, life skills, and mentorship to help them become independent and responsible individuals.

Role Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, committed, and proactive Child Welfare Officer to ensure the holistic care, protection, rehabilitation, and development of children residing in our Child Care Institution.



The role requires close coordination with government authorities, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with child protection laws and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct case history assessments and prepare Individual Care Plans (ICPs) for every child.
- Ensure rehabilitation, restoration, de-institutionalization, and transition of children to aftercare.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
- Monitor children's physical health, mental health, education, and overall development.
- Coordinate with Child Welfare Committees (CWC), police, hospitals, schools, courts, and government authorities.
- Maintain case files, legal documentation, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular case reviews and monitor rehabilitation outcomes.
- Organize life skills, awareness, and capacity-building sessions
