Act as a Civil Airfield Engineer for airfield civil engineering projects.
- Take ownership in the production of technical designs whilst giving technical leadership and mentorship to more junior engineers in the team.
- Undertake the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications related to the delivery of airfield engineering projects in both the UK and overseas.
- Contribute towards technical design reviews as required to meet the WSP quality management requirements.
- Read and accurately interpret, review, amend and reproduce engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Ability to manage drawing registers and revision control processes.
- Respond to client directions in a skilled and customer focused manner and to develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers and others who are influential in providing future business.
- Actively participate in the design and take ownership in providing technical input to the design team throughout the full design process.




- Effectively and confidently communicate and coordinate designs with team members, industry associates and Clients as required.
- Identify and support in the management of design risks, issues and Request for Information (RFIs).
- Support the Principal Airfield Civil Engineer as directed by monitoring and contributing to the development of appropriate project controls, including change management, information management and document control.
- Follow the technical quality requirements, address the project brief and meet client deadlines.
- Champion excellent health and safety in design.

Minimum Requirements
- Civil engineering experience of working on large, technically complex airport projects from the detailed design and construction support stages.
- Experience working within an engineering team in the delivery of technical aviation projects, sharing ideas and collaborating with colleagues and be able to demonstrate a time when you’ve managed to do
